Alcoa-Bahrain litigation: is Victor Dahdaleh a fall guy?
This is our impression: He has been for decades a highly respected trader and facilitator in the primary aluminum industry, notably in the Middle-East, and always maintained an impeccable reputation. His being suddenly accused of "unfair" alumina prices charged to State-owned Aluminium Bahrain and of diverting "bribes" to pay Bahraini officials sound like shooting oneself in the foot.
