Vedanta confirms withdrawing bid for Montenegro Podgorica smelter. What will Rusal do?

Vedanta Resource a holding company of the Sterlite group, has withdrawn its bid to purchase majority stake in an aluminium plant owned by the state of Montenegro clearing way for Rusal to pick up the deal. (Financial Express - 05/02/05)
